After TGE in Brighton we got our breath back and went up to Liverpool to Sound City where more networking was done and more great bands played, including The Boy Done Good who were terriffic at Hebbie Jeebies on Satuday night!
Wow what a busy time at The Great Escape 14, 15 & 16th of May! Lots of seminars, lots of networking and we saw some great bands in the evening, including Australian bands Temper Trap and The John Steel Singers!
London City Showcase took place earleir this year on 7th, 8th &9th of May with new talent showcasing in various venues across London, and Dawson Breed Music were there, helping out at the Borderline.
Dawson Breed Music and Respect Music Limited have been working on a joint venture with young Edinburgh songwriter/producers Reid&Stanners to celebrate the songwriting talents of Roy Orbison. Barbara Orbison Productions has chosen the Reid&Stannersversion of You’re The One to be featured on a Roy Orbisontribute album due for imminent release on itunes. They will also perform the song for her at a special event to be held at The Gibson Rooms London on the 23rd April 2009 which is Roy Orbison’s birthday.
