The Great Escape took place May 12th for 3 days and we were there again, listening to the panels and the live music! This year the Alternative Escape had some of the strongest acts playing and who are emerging very nicely!
Jake Morley played a truly mesmerising set at The Latest. Just the previous week he did a live session on the Janice Long show, and the BBC peeps loved it so much that Jo Whiley replayed that session on her show!
Common Tongues had a very busy couple of days playing at the Something Nothing showcase on Friday and the Shuga Buddha showcase on Saturday, in fact the Shuga Buddha showcase had such high quality acts playing, it was quite tricky trying to get to other showcases!
Shuga Buddha also showcased the stunningly brilliant Jim Stapley ………..

With Skinny Machines also putting on an amazing live show, Shuga Buddha at The Fishbowl was the place to be!
